Know what we know.

The more you understand the plan, the better it works. Everything here is written the way we'd explain it at your kitchen table — clear, specific, and without the fear factor.

Preparing for service — and what comes after

Ten minutes of preparation makes treatment measurably more effective. Your service report always carries the exact re-entry timing for your visit.

Pest library

Identification without the scare tactics: what you're seeing, why it's happening, and what actually prevents it.

Ants

Signs
Trails along baseboards and counters, activity around sinks and pet bowls, small soil piles at slab edges.
Likely causes
Foraging trails follow moisture and food residue; colonies nest in soil, walls, and under slabs.
Prevention
Wipe trails with soapy water, seal sweets and pet food, fix drips, and trim vegetation touching the house.

When it's beyond prevention: General Pest

German cockroaches

Signs
Pepper-like droppings in cabinet corners, a musty odor, sightings at night in kitchens and bathrooms.
Likely causes
They arrive in bags, boxes, and used appliances, then grow wherever food, water, and warmth meet.
Prevention
Deep-clean grease zones, fix leaks, take trash out nightly, and inspect anything cardboard coming in.

When it's beyond prevention: German Roach Cleanout

Bed bugs

Signs
Ink-dot stains on seams and box springs, shed skins, itchy welts in lines, live insects the size of an apple seed.
Likely causes
They hitchhike on luggage, furniture, and laundry — infestations are about travel, not housekeeping.
Prevention
Check secondhand furniture, use luggage racks when traveling, and heat-dry clothes after trips.

When it's beyond prevention: Bed Bug Treatment

Mice & rats

Signs
Droppings along walls, gnaw marks, night noises in walls or attics, disturbed pet food.
Likely causes
Gaps the width of a pencil are enough. Food, warmth, and clutter keep them established.
Prevention
Seal exterior gaps, store bulk food in hard containers, and keep storage off the floor and tidy.

When it's beyond prevention: Rodent Service

Fleas & ticks

Signs
Pets scratching, small dark insects in carpet, bites around ankles, ticks after yard time.
Likely causes
Usually pets or wildlife bring them in; untreated yards and unwashed pet bedding keep the cycle going.
Prevention
Vet-guided pet treatment, hot-wash bedding weekly, vacuum often, and keep grass short.

When it's beyond prevention: Fleas & Ticks

Wasps & hornets

Signs
Steady flight lines to eaves, sheds, or ground holes; papery nests; aggressive activity near entries.
Likely causes
Protected voids and quiet corners make ideal nest sites, especially spring through early fall.
Prevention
Seal soffit gaps early in the season and knock down golf-ball-size starter nests before they grow — from a safe distance.

When it's beyond prevention: Stinging Insect

What's a service report?

After every visit, you receive a documented record: what was found, what was treated, which products were used and where, and what to expect next — including your re-entry timing. It's your proof of work, and it's how evidence-based pest control holds itself accountable visit after visit.
